Booking the Palace

Parties can booked by calling Fantasy Fables Inc. during business hours Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm.

Once we have confirmed your date and time, a credit card deposit is required for booking of $150 plus hst.

A contract and email confirmation will be immediately forwarded to you for approval. Once we receive this back your booking is confirmed. We process the remaining balance the week before your party. Our booking office is not open on the weekend so all paperwork and confirmations are done the week prior to your party.

Acceptable forms of payment are Visa, Mastercard, we also do accept email money transfers.

Cancellations

Once we have reserved your date and time and Princess for you no cancellations are permitted without the penalty of forfeiting your deposit. In event of illness and your need to rescheule, please let us know as soon as you can and if we are giving advance notice (minimum 7 days) we will not put the balance through on your account but the deposit is forfeited as we will lose the booking for the castle and the princess that was specially reserved for you.

For Special Events in our Princess Ballroom, we require full payment upon reservation. No refunds are permitted as we have specially reserved this event for you.

How far in advance should I book?

We are able to book up to 90 days in advance as we do have our princess schedule set by then and would be able to confirm your request for your choice of Princess.

Should guests wear socks?

As per our invitations, socks are mandatory for all guests (parents and children).

If any guest arrives with no socks, Fantasy Fables Inc. will provide then for $3 a pair.

Our white floors mark very easily by shoes so we appreciate your co-operation.

All guest are not permitted to wear any shoes (indoor or outdoor).

How many guests can I invite?

Signature ‘Princess Palace’ Package

This package includes 10 children
(and approximately 10 adults)

Each additional child is $25 (maximum 14 children – there are no exceptions, as we have no extra seating for children)
(if you have 14 children, you will need to limit number of adults)
You may recommend to parents of your invited guests to please drop off their child – we are at a beautiful plaza with a grocery store and restaurants – they may wish to come back at the end of the party to pick up their child.

Our princess ballroom can accommodate up to 25 people, including adults & children maximum
(Please note that if you choose to have more than 20 people, the Palace space will feel more restricted, so we do recommend having under 20 people)

We have the right to limit the amount of occupants to ensure the safety of all persons

and comply to the City of Burlington’s building code of regulation.

 

Are boys included?

Fantasy Fables Inc. is gender neutral and will also include the boys in all activities while visiting the palace.

We offer dress-up to the boys as well, as a pirate or prince, and during makeovers, the boys are welcome to have a tattoo.

Decorations

There is no need to bring any additional decorations as our castle is decorated perfectly.

We do not allow any balloons, confetti or any decorations to be taped to our pink castle walls please. If you do bring them, you will be asked to keep them in our foyer, as they are a fire hazard for our open vented high ceilings.

Cake / Food

When you book with Fantasy Fables Palace, you may enter 10 minutes before your party to bring in any food, drinks, tableware and get settled. Most clients order pizza, and have it delivered for 45 mins after your party begins. You may bring in your own food and drinks, with the exception of: popcorn, candy, gum, broccoli, seafood (sushi excepted). Please note that we are a nut/peanut free facility.

The facility does not have a kitchen sink, so all serving ware that you bring in, will need to be taken home to be washed there.  No heating devices of any kind are to be brought in. We do not have a microwave.

*this is an add-on that may be purchased when booking your party – we will provide this for you
**we do have a Keurig machine, for coffee/tea, if you would like to use it (please bring your own capsules, cream, sugar)

We will dispose of your garbage and we do have garbage bags.

Our host is happy to store your cake in our fridge.

Our host will assist with your clean up after your party – clean up will commence at 15 minutes before your party’s end. Our host does not help serve food or cake, or assist with set up, as she is busy with the children.

Clean up?

We provide a bin for you to clean up after your enjoyment of the palace. We ask that you begin cleaning up 15 minutes prior to your party ending.

Can I stay late?

We ask that you start cleaning up 15 minutes before your departure time. Our assistant is happy to help you with this.

Since our palace is always fully booked, we do require that your guests depart the palace by the end of your booked time slot so that the next guests can enter and prepare for their celebration.

Photos and Videos

Fantasy Fables Inc. allows all contracted guests and their families to take photos and videos of the special event.

We have the right to ask clients to remove material from facebook and the web of our princess performances at any time.

Rules

All food and drinks must be kept at the food area, which is at the front of the palace (away from our sparkly stage and flower wall and princess gowns). We have beautiful princess furnishings and props that we need to keep in pristine condition.
